Are you the kind of person who people come to talk to when they are faced with a problem? Do people call you a great listener and tell you that they feel
so much better after talking to you? Is it easy for you to know what to say and to find exactly the right words to help someone see a situation from a
If so, it sounds like you are an informal coach who is a natural at helping people live life with greater ease and joy.

Why did you decide to pursue coaching with Frame of Mind Coaching?
As I was diving into the world of teleseminars and coaching, I came across an ad for a free teleseminar with Kim. I was intrigued and signed up for it with
the assumption I would get a sales call upon its completion. So the protective walls went up - I would not be SOLD. I got some good free bits from the call
so felt no need to spend any money since I was broke as could be and quickly approaching bankruptcy. It was another dark period in my life. I signed up for
Kim's free sales call after the teleseminar. I must say that within minutes of a very intimate conversation she had me facing and overcoming some of my
demons. I immediately felt that wow - if you can do that for me in just a few minutes, then a 10-week coaching session could change my life...and it did!
What was your coaching experience like?
It was amazing! While being a huge commitment on my part, I learned so much about myself and how to deal with every issue that came my way. Here's what I
took away from coaching:
- I live much more at peace now, due to a better understanding that fear is nothing more than false expectations. It's all in the mind.
- I've always been a risk taker, but coaching has challenged me to take even greater risks without fear. I live my life being thankful for everything.
- My self-confidence is through the roof and my emotional resilience is back stronger than ever.
- The one thing that sticks with me daily which helps me redirect my focus is Kim's infamous principle of "What you Focus on Grows."
Was there anything that surprised you about coaching?
I've been coached before and I believe that everyone could use a coach. Even top coaches have their own coach. But I was surprised at how specifically
Frame of Mind Coaching really made a difference in how I think on a daily basis. Your thinking affects everything and it's really up to you to decide how
you view the world and others. Another surprise was how effective it was being slapped upside the head by Kim without realizing she had even done so.
What are a few specific things you learned from coaching that you apply to your life?
I was involved in a relationship where I was in very deep. I had to face a harsh reality that my well-being was totally contingent on the relationship.
Coaching helped me see this and deal with the reality. I've learned to phrase things differently and eliminate words like "I'll try" from my vocabulary.
Another phrase I learned from Kim that sticks with me is, "Wouldn't it be cool if...?"
How did journaling affect your coaching experience?
Journaling was an important part of my process because it allowed me to open up in a secure forum without any fear of rejection or judgment. I got to share
with others within my group and they would comment which in turn proved very beneficial. Journaling also gave me the ability to dump. I used it many ways.
Sometimes I would journal in the mornings and that would prepare me for a more positive day. The evening journaling allowed me to dump when necessary and
also just review my day and file it all away.
What are some things that you grappled with before and during coaching?
The cost! We all have money concerns and when I first talked to Kim I was broke. I mean totally cash poor and in debt above my ears. The small financial
commitment (It was a lot of money at the time but looking back now I can say yes - it was small), Kim was able to help me understand why it was the most
valuable investment in myself without selling me. That was huge!
How has coaching affected your personal and professional life?
Wow, how much time have you got? I can go on for days. This has made huge strides for me in my family life, my personal life, relationships and business. I
see everything in a more positive way and have been able to share that influence with others. There is no way I could possibly be in the position I am in
right now as Broker and Branch Vice President without having gone through Frame of Mind Coaching. I use and implement its teachings to the agents within my
office as I coach and train them. It's a belief system that works for anyone. I approach everything in a new way and it is evident to those around me.
Whether you are struggling or not, having a coach will help propel you to that next level again and again. Without it you're flying solo.
